Okay, I know this is totally late notice, and completely unacceptable, but …. don’t you just love how I started this!
Meet me, about 24 years ago …
I was born at 32 weeks, approximately 2 months early. I could give you a long story about how I wasn’t expected to live, I overcame tremendous odds to become “normal” as far as health is concerned. I’ll spare you that, and just tell you that the only reason I’m here today (aside from grace from God and prayer from friends) is the tremendous care I received during the critical stages of my life.
I was cared for in some wonderful premature birth centers. March of Dimes was no doubt a huge help in getting my family and I the support we needed in such a critical time. I’ve had several friends who have called upon March of Dimes, and they have undoubtedly come through.
That’s why I’m joining together with my mom, Kimberly Thompson, and some of her family to walk in this Saturday’s March of Dimes WalkAmerica. This is where I get to the part about me being a total slimeball and just now getting to asking for your support. The money is due Wednesday, although I believe online donations continue after that.
We’ve set a goal to raise $500 as a team. We honestly appreciate your thoughts and encouragement more than anything, and any small donation you could give us. If you’re interested, either e-mail me at anna@annabrowndesigns.com, or below is a link to our PayPal account.
Thank you so much for your support!
