Okay, here’s the deal. I typically have no desire to blog. Then, every once in a while, something happens and the first thing I think is, “I have to blog that.”
This past week has been filled with those moments. Of course, it’s also been filled with regular job, photography jobs, birth announcements, wedding invitations, dog walks, the gym, etc.
That’s why I’m making a list. For me to remember what I want to talk about, and just to build a little nervous excitement since I know you’re dying to hear what I have to say.
Over the next few days, we’ll be discussing:
-My intense craving for Mexican food lately. I guess there’s not much to say here, I’ll get it out of the way. I may turn in to a tortilla. I’m not pregnant, I’m sure, but I can’t get enough Mexican lately.
-Our recent encounter (at a local Taqueria, mind you) with a family from our old church. Their horrible story of how their daughter has been treated in the student ministry.
-Our recent viewing of Michael Moore’s new documentary, Sicko.
-My husband’s mid-life crisis and subsequent choice between being a flight attendant and Satellite Radio DJ.
-How Josh sings everything these days.
-Josh and I’s recent outbursts of Onomontopeias.
-The fine line I’m finding myself trodding lately with whether or not to tell people their racism offends me.
-How my arm was so sore from Wii I could barely type the next day, but I got a pretty Pro Ball!
-Our recent viewings of Beverly Hills 90210
-How I’ve been listening to sports radio when Josh isn’t even in the car.
-The midnight book release of Harry Potter.
-Etc, etc.
I know not many people care what I say, I just need to get some stuff off my chest. This is how I’m choosing to do that.

as your best friend i’m allowed to tell you this—you are way to hard on yourself and sometimes it really pisses me off. while there may be “many people who don’t care what you say” there are more important people (like the ones that love you) that do.
glad you got all that off your chest. love you!

Good post. If I can ask for a post, it would be you trying to think up all the stuff Josh has said he’s wanted to do or be, but has had the desire fade or whatnot. And I’m not even trying to instigate (there’s better ways to do that), I just find it fascinating, as a person who typically always likes/wants to do the same boring ole’ stuff.
You could even do like a weekly or monthly digest that lists the current time period’s topics re: this.
Haven’t had a chance to look up the onesies for your coworker’s bebbie yet. Internets was out at home this morning.
